Position Summary:

In this role you will partner with our brand teams as we develop compelling strategies for our clients’ business that unleash the potential of their brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate curiosity phase including, but not limited to liaison with vendors on research plan, discussion guides, conduct research, generate findings, analysis and presentation of primary and secondary research findings

  • Study and report out on the market and brand landscape including competitive audits

  • Report on important cultural/technology/health trends, and their potential application to and impact on client business

  • Generate exploration phase, identifying insight to build out key strategic opportunities

  • Support senior members in the development of compelling strategies throughout the experimentation phase of the strategic process

  • Generates distillation phase, working together with the creative and account teams

  • Support workshop development, contribute to strategic planning and craft client presentations

  • Involvement in new business pitches such as conducting interviews with senior support as well as generating interview notes and conclusions

  • Manages the day to day strategic needs on the client business

  • Manage junior staff

Requirements:

  • Clear communicator, good listener, agile thinker

  • Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills

  • Has a command on what is required to successfully achieve work objectives

  • Demonstrates storytelling ability

  • Able to be an individual contributor, willing and eager to work in a hands-on capacity as we build out the department

  • Strong persuasive communication skills to advocate for strategy both internally and externally

  • Relationship and team-work oriented

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sociology, psychology, science, marketing and communications or comparable degree

  • Experience: 3-5 years in Strategic Planning (junior planner/planner role) or comparable role in research or analysis in healthcare
