Responsibilities

  • Mastery of the history of the concepts/creative, strategy, market landscape of the brand and client
  • Creative owner of multiple brands
  • Responsible and accountable for oversight of the maintenance and strength the brand equity and evolving it in the marketplace
  • Oversee the consistency and continuity of the brand across a variety of tactics in the concepting, design, application and layout of sales promotional materials
  • Responsible for partnering and “big picture thinking” as it relates to the client, internal team and account services counterpart
  • Embrace and follow Creative Criteria
  • Present creative in internal meetings
  • Client contact - offer strategic and innovating solutions, add/contribute to client meetings, and present creative work - Direct line management of creative brand(s) team including delegation & management of workload
  • Provide meaningful contributions in the form of concepts/ideas to new business pitches, pro-bono and in-house work
  • Identify and implement solutions to problems with process and/or inter-departmental interaction
  • Team leader and presenter for new business pitches to which they are assigned
  • Liase with Studio

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field

Experience

  • 6-8 years experience in Advertising or related field

Other

  • Evidence of creative ability/talent (e.g. book of work)
  • Demonstrated design/concepting/layout ability and typographic skill
  • Effective communication, presentation, delegation, negotiation, time management, line management, decision making and influencing skills required
  • Ability to develop competitive communication strategies (e.g. “how to sell against competitors”) and innovative/strategic ideas Intermediate to advanced skills in Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator (knowledge of shortcuts preferred)
  • Demonstrated business acumen, passion for the industry, work ethic, ability to be a team player, manage multiple projects, establish an information hierarchy, and work self directed/independently
  • Demonstrated, confident and positive leadership including the ability to focus on the big picture and group goal, building morale, solving problems, and managing emotions in a faced paced environment
  • Must be able to establish a vision for photography to be used in creative concepts
